Debate – The European Union after the French Presidency - 5th May 2008
In partnership with The Centre, the Robert Schuman Foundation is organising on 5 May a debate in Brussels on “The European Union after the French Presidency”, in the presence of Jean-Dominique Giuliani, President of the Robert Schuman Foundation and Graham Watson, President of the Democratic and Liberal Alliance party at the European Parliament.

Workshop: "Is Europe supporting its companies to export?" - 4th March 2008
The Robert Schuman Foundation organised a working seminar in Brussels on 4th March on the theme of "Is Europe supporting its companies to export?". This seminar took place with Ignasi Guardans, MEP and David O'Sullivan, Director General for External Trade in attendance along with a number of company heads and several representatives from Parliament and the Commission in attendance.

Conference on energy in Brussels - 22nd January 2008
As the European Commission publishes the Energy and Climate package the Robert Schuman Foundation organised a debate on future energy mix options on Tuesday 22nd January in Brussels. All issues was addressed including nuclear energy. During the debate a new "Note" was presented by the Foundation entitled "Reviving energy production in Europe: an environmental, industrial and political challenge."
