Debate in Berlin on France's policy towards Europe - 20

On September 20th, the Robert Schuman Foundation is organising, with the cooperation of the Franco-German relations program of the DGAP (German Council on Foreign Affairs), a conference covering perspectives on French policy towards Europe under the Sarkozy presidency. The chairman of the Foundation, Jean-Dominique Giuliani and Joachim Bitterlich, former ambassador and executive vice-president for international affairs of the Veolia Environnement group in Paris, will each speak to open the debate.

Debate on the French and European economic perspectives 2008 - 19

The Robert Schuman Foundation has organised, in association with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, a breakfast debate focusing on "French and European economic perspectives 2008" that will take place on Wednesday, September 19th from 8:30 to 10:00. The debate will be led by Paul Betbeze, Crédit Agricole Chief Economist and member of the French Council of Economic Analysis and of the Foundation's Scientific Committee, and by Christian de Boissieu, President of the French Council of Economic Analysis and economic advisor to the president of the CCIP.

Florence -
22nd June 2007
Jean-Dominique Giuliani, chairman of the Foundation, and Alain Lancelot, president of the Scientific council, participated in the Franco-Italian Forum in Florence from June 22-23. The discussions centered on immigration and integration and were entitled "From the dusk of the Chirac era to the dawn of Sarkozy's reform", and "Recent developments in French immigration and integration policy".
